Friends

What constitutes being a friend? If I have learned anything from the past few years of my life, it is that friends are everything. No matter how close you are to that person, whether a family member, acquaintance, significant other, or stranger, a friend is someone you share your life with. You may have only shared a few minutes in passing or have a lifetime of memories, but ultimately friends care.
I have had some pretty big ups and downs with close friends over the years. But with struggle come strength. See, the thing about friends is that they will see you through anything. No matter how horrible or nasty the circumstances, they still manage to be there, by your side. It is when life seems at its worst when you realize who your true friends are. They are the ones who answer the phone at 3am, drop everything to drive and see you, or offer words of encouragement when there is no hope to be seen. Friends give you that long hug you've been needing all day and a listening ear to vent all your troubles. Without friends, I would be one stressed out girl!
So, Thank You! I only hope that I can be half as good of a friend, as my friends are to me.
